Students will jump into the garden boots first! In this hands-on class, young gardeners will work together to imagine, design, and grow their very own garden. From planning what to plant and starting seedlings to preparing the soil and bringing their garden to life, each class will explore every step of the growing process. Along the way, students will discover the fascinating world of plants — learning how they grow, the homes they create for pollinators and wildlife, and even how to use them in creative ways, such as making natural dyes and art materials.
This class blends science, creativity, and teamwork to help students connect with nature and understand where our food and natural materials come from. Whether their hands are in the dirt or they’re observing tiny sprouts emerge, students will gain a deeper appreciation for the living world around them — and have a ton of fun doing it!
