🎸 Rock 101 
 
Welcome to Rock 101—where music comes alive and the volume gets turned up! This class is all about learning the foundations of rock while exploring what it means to create, collaborate, and perform as a band.
 
Students will:
   •   Learn the fundamentals of playing with others in a band setting
   •   Collaborate on songwriting, from riffs and lyrics to full band arrangements
   •   Dive into music theory and harmony, with a focus on how it applies to rock and contemporary styles
   •   Practice performance skills, stage presence, and musical communication
   •   Explore iconic rock genres and artists for inspiration
 
Whether you play guitar, bass, drums, keyboard, or sing—this is your chance to plug in, jam out, and build the skills needed to create original music with your peers. Expect plenty of improvisation, group creativity, and real-world experience in musical teamwork.
