In the Sound Garden, students take a dive into the world of music theory and performance. This class blends structured learning with hands-on creativity, focusing on how music works and how to bring it to life on keyboards, vocals, and percussion instruments.

Students will gain an understanding of sheet music reading, scales, chords, time signatures, and note relationships, including the magic of intervals like the perfect fifth. We’ll use these tools to learn and play popular songs, explore improvisation, and develop the skills needed to play confidently with other musicians.

Through engaging lessons and group jam sessions, students will build timing, listening, and teamwork, all while discovering their unique musical voice. This class helps young musicians transform theory into expression and passion into performance.
